Just got orders to Nellis Air Force Base? Located just outside Las Vegas, Nevada, there's an endless list of things to discover. You can start with gold on base at Sunrise Vista Golf Course, then head into town for the Neon Museum, the Atomic Museum, or Battlefield Vegas for high-energy munitions fun. Las Vegas is known for world-class dining, but some local favorites are sure to please as well. Top of the World and S&S Diner are two must-eats near the Strip, but locals love Viva Zapatas in northern Las Vegas. When the weather's nice, get outside.
