If you're just reporting into Miramar, enter through the main gate located off Interstate 15 on Miramar Way so you can stop by the Visitor and Registration Center. From there, active duty will check in at the Regional Personnel Administration Center. Housing for Families stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is managed by the Naval Base San Diego Housing Services Center. They can provide support whether you want to live on or off base. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar's base exchange and commissary have everything you need to get settled tax-free. Nature lovers will enjoy spending their days off at the installation's beautiful Mills Park, which even has a fishing pond open for recreational use.
